The next Aboriginal Art Reading Group meeting will be Monday, 17 May, 3:30-4:30pm, Room G38, Elisabeth Murdoch Building.

We will be reading two chapters from Crossing Cultures – Conflict, Migration, Convergence, 32nd Congress of the International Committee of the History of Art (CIHA), University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. They are Marcia Langton, Chapter 8, “The Art of Being Aboriginal,” pages 35-45 and Ian McLean, Chapter 186, “Historicity and Aboriginal Art: How Long Will It Take for Aboriginal Art to Become Modern” pages 922-925.
