It is great to see an artist of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands (known as the APY Lands) receive such esteemed recognition for his efforts, and congratulations to the 460 artists who work in seven Aboriginal-owned and governed art centres on the APY Lands in the far north-west of South Australia. These Community art centres not only produce great art, but also deliver programs for community health and wellbeing.
