Indigenous Australian Art Commercial Code of Conduct

NAVA is working with Desart and ANKAAA to develop the Indigenous Australian Art Commercial Code of Conduct.

The Code covers best practice conduct for the art production and sales relationships between artists, agents, sales intermediaries and buyers. The Code will be a voluntry Code established in line with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Code guidelines.It is anticipated that the next stage of the Code will be published in early 2008.

The project was funded by the Australia Council, the Commonwealth governments arts funding and advisory body.
