The Geneva branch of Koller auctions will offer for sale one of the best collections of contemporary Aboriginal art worldwide during their 13th November auction.

Held in collaboration with L'espace d'art Carry On the gallery of Arnaud Serval, who, with a collection of around 2000 works, is one of the most long-standing and knowledgeable connoisseurs of indigenous Australian art, the sale will feature 125 lots from artists such as Ronnie Tjampitjinpa, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Rover Thomas.

The highlights of the auction at Koller Geneva on 13 November are Lot 722 and Lot 735. One is the awesome masterpiece Tingari-Cyklus, Wilkinkarra Lake Mackay (210x348 cm) from 2007 by the artist Ronnie Tjampitjinpa. This work represents Lake Mackay, which is also the birthplace of Tjampitjinpas, and is estimated at CHF 60,000 / 80,000.

The other highlight is the picture The two brothers Tjangala in Warlugulong by Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri which is a spectacular painting from 1997 which is being sold with an estimate of CHF 90,000 to 120,000.

Another fabulous work is lot 183, a spectacular painting by Billy Stockman Tjapaltjarri from 1992 which measures 87x118 cm and is estimated to fetch CHF 10,000.- / 15,000.

Since 1980, the Geneva branch of Koller Auctions has been the focal point for Koller Auctions' large clientele in western Switzerland. Twice a year, in November and May, auctions for Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Design, 20th century art and Wine are held within the elegant 19th-century boiseries of the Palais de l'Athénée.
