21st Telstra National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Award 14 August 2004. The first prize of $40,000 was awarded to artist Gulumbu Yunupingu for her work Garak, The Universe, an installation of three memorial poles. This artwork automatically becomes part of the Museum & Art Gallery of the Northern Territory's Telstra Collection.
