24th TELSTRA NATIONAL ABORIGINAL & TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER ART AWARDS

Papunya Tula Artists is proud to have five senior artists exhibiting at the 24th Telstra National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Award. George Tjungurrayi and sister Naata Nungurrayi were both selected to exhibit again this year, George contributing a striking large scale depiction of two men throwing spears at the claypan site of Mamultjulkulnga. Nungurrayi this year presented a complex representation of her home country surrounding Karrilwarra and Unkunya.
