HUNDREDS of colourful and often beautiful artworks are on display at the Boulder Town Hall.
And the entries for the massive City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Art Prize are well worth viewing.
Predictable only for being eclectic, they cover a vast range of sizes, media and subjects.
At the opening of the annual exhibition, winners of the various categories were announced.
South-West artist Robyn Varpins was the recipient of the best overall award for an interesting three-dimensional image of herself in clay.
Local people who triumphed included Lena Abdullah. She won the Nooda Ngulegoo Aboriginal Corporation’s Aboriginal Art Award for her textured Goanna.
Alicia Hart (16) was voted best in the youth section of the competition for the second consecutive year.
