Ellendale host to art show this weekend

More than 40 countries will be represented with paintings, carvings, pottery and a host of other forms of artistic expression in the lobby of the Opera House in Ellendale this weekend.

“My mom and dad lived in Australia for a time,” said Theresa Labuhn, another displayer. “They’ve loaned me some Aboriginal art from Alice Springs, Australia.”

The art work of the Aborigines can be compared to the artwork of Native Americans.
