Local art show grows

The Macleay Valley Community Art Gallery will open an exhibition of local Aboriginal artists this Thursday as part of NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Of Celebration) Week celebrations.

The exhibition will feature works from some of the Macleay’s best known artists.

They include 2007 Parliament of NSW Indigenous art prize winner Milton Budge; Richard Campbell, whose work will be featured as part of World Youth Day celebrations; and South West Rocks artist Greg Weatherby.
