The Northern Territory Arts Minister Marion Scrymgour calls Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to act immediately to look at implementing some of the recommendations from the senate inquiry.
Quoted from the interview:
A 2007 Senate inquiry made 29 recomendatations about ways of improving the industry.
Marion Scrymgour says if some of the recommendations were acted on it would reduce exploitation.
"It's got to be looked at [by the Federal Government] as a matter of urgency," she said.
