In 2009 the art galleries Michael Reid at Elizabeth Bay and Michael Reid at Murrurundi will continue to offer one of the most comprehensive Australian art education programmes in the country. Our aim is to equip both collectors and art professionals with the critical and practical tools necessary to understand the fine and decorative arts of Australia.

We have brought together a team of dedicated art world experts, academics and practitioners, in areas ranging from early 19th Century decorative arts to 21st century Australian and Indigenous art practice. Our specialists’ deep academic understanding of their chosen field is combined with decades of practical art world experience.
