From the Age:

Michael O'Loughlin's talent on the field has long been lauded but the Sydney Swan AFL star has a hidden gift.

The star forward has designed the illustration for a limited edition T-shirt to mark the anniversary of Apology Day, joining forces with teammates Jude Bolton and Amon Buchanan, who own fashion label Jon Pumper. The T-shirt commemorates the anniversary of Kevin Rudd's historic apology to the stolen generation on February 13 last year, in which he acknowledged the "profound grief, suffering and loss" of the Aboriginal children taken from their families.

O'Loughlin, 32, said his design represented future unity between black and white Australia. "Apology Day is not just about saying sorry - it is about recognising the mistakes of the past and now moving forward in a positive and constructive way," he said.
