The WetlandCare Australia National Art and Photography Competition, to celebrate World Wetlands Day, is on again for its 5th year. The theme for the 2012 competition is Wetlands, Tourism and Recreation.
The competition has categories in art and photography for young people and adults, and this year sees the introduction of categories specifically for Indigenous artists. There are some great prizes to be won, including a holiday in Vanuatu and the $1500 NSW Catchment Management Authorities Open Art 1st Prize. This is an excellent opportunity to explore your local wetlands and waterways, essential elements of our environment and endless sources of inspiration.
WetlandCare Australia is a registered charity, working to protect and restore Australian wetlands.
