Being Launched on 6 June by the Hon Heidi Victoria MP (Minister for the Arts, Women's Affairs and Consumer Affairs) is an exhibition called Ganagan, a Taungurung word meaning 'deep water', being organised by the Koorie Heritage Trust.

On show will be rarely seen artefacts including canoes, traps and spears, as well as paintings, photos and a video installation. Interestingly, the Ganagan experience will also include guided river walks along the Yarra.

Dates and Details:
Guided River Walks will run from Federation Square on Friday 21st June and Wednesday 10th July 1:00 – 2:30pm.

The walks will commence from the Foyer of the Ian Potter Centre at Federation Square. Walks are capped at 20 people and bookings are essential so get in early! Participants will need to pay at the time of booking to secure a place on the tour.

Costs are $30 per person and $20 for concession and Koorie community members (credit card payments are preferred). Bookings can be made through our reception team on 03 8622 2600 or reception@koorieheritagetrust.com.

A Curator Floor Talk will be held on Wednesday 10th July 10:00 – 11:00am. The floor talk will provide information on the development of this exhibition and include insights into the works on display.

The Curator floor talks are free but capped at 30 people. Bookings are essential, again by contacting the reception team on 03 8622 2600 or reception@koorieheritagetrust.com.
